Research found:
A concentration of 1000 to 2000 negative ions per cc has significant benefits for human health.
Chen Chun-chung, director of the Sports and Health Science Research Center at Yangming University, was commissioned by the Forestry Bureau of the Council of Agriculture in 2004 to conduct research on the health benefits of forest negative ions. He found that when the number of negative ions reaches 1,000 to 2,000 per cm³, it is very helpful to human health, and when it reaches 100,000 to 500,000 per cm³, it has natural therapeutic effects.



What is a negative ion?
Negative air ions (NAIs) are negatively charged particles in the air.
They are usually generated in natural environments, such as waterfalls (through the Lenard effect), forests, seasides, and after thunderstorms.
As water droplets fall, a small number of electrons are transferred from the water droplets into the air, forming negative ions.
Negative ions primarily penetrate the body through the respiratory tract and skin, facilitating intercellular communication and oxygen delivery to the lungs. They have a positive impact on air quality, human health, and well-being.
